About the Three Sixty Five Project

Well, hello there!

My name’s Christine, and I’m the little photographer behind the Three Sixty Five Project. I initially embarked upon this daily photography project of mine to develop my skills as a photographer. I’ve been to some cool places and taken some cool pictures, but I really wanted to focus more on the little things, the so-called mundane moments that are lovely, but so often go unnoticed in our busy lives. Since its inception on January 1, 2012, I have adapted this project of mine into something more flexible, into posting pictures less frequently but each with a little more heart and soul. Forced creativity, it turns out, is not my style. I hope that through my ~~(almost) daily~~ occasionally posted photos, little dose of soul, and totally witty commentary (get it, develop?), I can bring a little touch of joy and loveliness into your lives as you join me in my leisurely photographic journey.

Let’s not forget Kimchi. Kimchi is important, too.

I shoot with the Japanese version of the Canon EOS 450 D/Kiss X2, which I haggled for in Seoul’s Yongsan electronics market. I currently work with two lenses, the Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 II, which uneventfully required no haggling to acquire, and a Tamron 171A 28-200mm f/3.8-5.6, which I adore. Current editing is done in iPhoto. Super tech-savvy, I know.
